Like its Matrix stablemates, the Matrix Metallic™ features pneumatic rollers with thermostatic temperature control. The heavy, even pressure it can apply coupled with precise heat ensures repeatable results and minimizes wastage. The easy to operate Metallic™ has been fully optimized to work better with uncoated papers, widening the choice of creative papers that can be used with digital foiling.
Specifically developed for applying digital foil and special effects, to both textured and non-textured stocks, the Matrix Metallic range is the solution you’ve been looking for to get the best quality consistent digital foiling finishes across a variety of stocks.
Designed primarily for adding digital foil to prints, the most noticeable difference between the Matrix Metallic and Matrix ranges is the rollers. The texture of the roller on the Metallic is designed to get deep into the pitfalls of most coated and uncoated stocks, giving you the most consistent finish across the board.
The Matrix Metallic™ is a modular system which means that, for example, it is fully compatible with the retrofittable Omni-Flow 370 (SRA3) Deep Pile Feeder. The feeder allows 700 sheets of paper to be stacked to feed automatically into the Matrix, speeding up production time and freeing up an operator to work on other jobs.
