The EBA 480 EP is a power guillotine which retains the manual clamp positioning of simpler machines to avoid unnecessary complexity. Side lays at the front ensure that the stack is positioned correctly, even for the smallest piles.
The benefits of power cutting without spending on unnecessary powered operations makes the EBA 480 an economy machine with the throughput potential of a more expensive guillotine.
The program pad can store 99 cutting programmes with up to 99 steps in each. A memory key can recall repeat cuts while non-standard job sizes can be entered via the key pad to control the back gauge. Manual setting is also possible using an electronic handwheel for the finest adjustments. Cutting position is checked using illuminated cutting line.
The transparent safety hood locks in position to guarantee safe cutting while swinging away to give good access while loading paper. Side lays ensure accurate positioning of even smaller stacks. Backgauge control from the front of the table gives single position operating. Blade height adjustment and cutting stick removal from the side of the guillotine eliminate risks while blade replacement uses a special tool designed to carry out the switch over in complete safety.
