We had a customer who was looking to upgrade an EBA 4860 guillotine as a result of the need for greater flexibility in cutting width. They were advised that the fantastic Ideal 7260 guillotine would be perfect for their needs, a part exchange was agreed, and the 7260 order was placed. The machine was un-packed and undertook a pre-delivery inspection at our premises in Leicester, then loaded up and delivered to Leighton Buzzard at the customers convenience. On the day, it was installed and Health & Safety certified by our expert engineers and full operator training was given to four people, with certification provided to that end.
As well as benefiting from the extra cut width, we think the additional features of the 7260 in adjustable clamping pressure, faster knife cycle, air table as standard, and the extra workspace of the cutting table will all be a great improvement in workflow and ease of use to the customer.
