Boost producitvity with Ideal 4860 Guillotine

One of our long standing customers has just upgraded to an Ideal 4860 Guillotine with the main key benefit of having beam guards. They part exchanged their old Ideal 5221-90 Guillotine which had been looked after by us.

The German-made machine, which has a 475mm cutting length, was launched in the UK in 2012 and CJB have supplied and continue to support many throughout the UK.  

If space is a premium or your existing guillotine is slowing down production this model is just for you. The use of IR safety curtains make it approximately 20% faster than alternative models with a physical guard. As with all IDEAL guillotines it is made in Germany to the highest specifications and safety standards.

Guillotines tend to be last in the queue when it comes to equipment upgrades because people think the technology is quite stagnant. Of course every company is different but at the end of the day, we’re certain that anyone running a guillotine with a physical guard would see significant productivity improvements.
