Terms and conditions

Definition
1. The 'Customer' means the person, firm or company the goods were sold to as the invoice party.
2. The 'goods supplied' or 'the equipment' means the goods sold.

Retention of Title
Full legal title (Equitable & Beneficial Ownership) to all goods remains with CJB Printing Equipment Limited until such goods are paid for in full.

Credit Terms
Where goods are supplied on an account or credit basis, full and proper payment for such goods is to be made by the due date specified on the invoice.

Interest Charges
Where full and proper payment is not made by due date, CJB Printing Equipment Limited reserves the right to charge interest at 2% per calendar month or pro rata on all outstanding debts.

Guarantee & Warranty
Unless stated on the invoice, no guarantee or warranty is given on any goods supplied; where a warranty is given such a guarantee or warranty is limited solely to the goods supplied. In the event of breakdown every endeavour will be made by CJB Printing Equipment Limited to respond in a time appropriate to the requirement. Any claim for lost production, spoilt production, down time or any such related claim will not be considered to be part of any guarantee or warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all the recommended service intervals are carried out by CJB Printing Equipment Limited or their appointed agents. If this isn't carried out it will invalidate any warranty. The warranty on all breakdown and service work carried out by CJB Printing Equipment Limited on equipment is limited to seven days, and is also limited to the work carried out. In the event of further work being required, this will not be covered by any warranty unless it is still within the warranty period. Any repairs or adjustments (other than covered in the operators manual), including the installation and removal, which are carried out by anyone other than CJB Printing Equipment Limited or their appointed agents will invalidate any warranty. Any call out to equipment under warranty, which requires only adjustments covered in the operator’s manual, will be chargeable. Breakables, perishables and normal consumable items are not included under warranty. Equipment supplied is only guaranteed to work within the manufactures specification. Any work carried out outside these, is not guaranteed and may invalidate any warranty given. Any adjustments covered in the operator’s manual are also not included.

Orders
All orders placed for equipment will be accepted with an appropriate deposit payment agreed at the time (if applicable). The acceptance of an order by CJB Printing Equipment Limited does not bind CJB Printing Equipment Limited to supply the goods by a specific date, although every effort will always be made to honour such dates. No claim for any loss of any sort will be allowed against CJB Printing Equipment Limited if goods are not able to be supplied by any specific date. Non delivery or any discrepancies on orders must be notified within 5 days of receipt of invoice to CJB Printing Equipment Limited, otherwise claims cannot be accepted. Any claim that is deemed to be acceptable will be subject to a restocking charge.

Customer Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all health and safety requirements and all legal requirements are met prior to the use of any equipment supplied. Receipt of payment indicates a full acceptance of the equipment supplied, and that it is of satisfactory quality.
